Healing veterans and first responders through real farm work. Mentoring youth. Feeding the community.
We are a veteran-led therapeutic farm where healing happens with animals, gardens, peer support, and purpose. All core programs are free for veterans and first responders.
We also run a regenerative community co-op selling pasture-raised beef, goat meat, and garden produce through 1/16th shares and subscription boxes.

Who we are
Scars of Valor Foundation is a 501(c)(3) therapeutic farm and education center at the Country Learning Center site in Tuscola, Illinois.
Founded by Bradley Ingram, Major (Ret), we provide hands-on, veteran-led healing for veterans and first responders through animal companionship, garden work, peer support, and storytelling. We also mentor local youth through the Jr. Farmer Ag Program and host the Country Learning Center preschool on our grounds.
We operate as a regenerative community membership co-op modeled after Grass Roots Farmers’ Cooperative. Members purchase customizable subscription boxes and 1/16th shares of pasture-raised beef, goat meat, and garden produce. Revenue sustains the farm and keeps all core healing programs free for those who served.
Our north star is full renewal by 2029: a self-sustaining hub where veterans heal, youth gain real skills, and the community is fed and strengthened.
